Cool Green Heron

Photographed in Cuba , the bird appears to be a melanistic Green Heron though it might perhaps be a dark form or even stained by algae. He lives in Forest Hills with Daisy, their son, Desmond Shearwater, and their two indoor cats, Hunter and B.B. The jury is still out but what a cool bird! Hat-tip to Shawn. Thanks for visiting!
