Surely a nation and a national press that can expend so much attention on the life and death of one racehorse should be able to muster the compassion to pass legislation that would end this cruelty. Each one of these animals suffered extreme cruel and inhumane conditions in the transportation and slaughter process.

It’s too bad that the owl had to die because the one team couldn’t keep it under control, but I feel even worse that this ass will more than likely not even receive a fine for this animal cruelty because Columbia has no laws on the subject.
