But what we love most about Best Friends is that they don’t just help dogs, they help birds, cats, horses, and more! Not only do they try to find these pets forever homes, but they provide loving care for those who aren’t adoptable. Most recently they had their special event honoring pets who have passed.

Iams and longtime partner Helen Woodward Animal Center, along with more than 3,500 animal organizations from around the world once again joined forces to help reduce pet homelessness. 509,470 cats. 23,051 other animals (including rabbits, reptiles, horses, birds and more). The 2011 program will begin in October.
