Over at Animal Rights and AntiOppression , we’ve been discussing tactics and sharing our thoughts and experiences about what works and doesn’t work when it comes to advocacy. The research, much of the time, doesn’t support the conventional wisdom (which is not to say the case is closed on any issue).

There's not enough evidence for an accusation of moral relativism, but for me the message is a mixed one. Some have tried to resolve this gap by hunting or butchering an animal themselves, as if those experiences might somehow legitimize the endeavor of eating animals. He is against it for himself and his family.
