Fostering is a wonderful experience. A certain breed, age, sex, temperament, that you think will fit into your home. A pet needs time to decompress, to learn trust, to “get over” the shelter experience. As a foster parent, you can set certain guidelines with the rescue group as to what type of animal you prefer.
