Michael Martin is a professor of philosophy at Boston University. For example, we will not claim that Martin is opposed to moral vegetarianism because he likes to eat meat without a guilty conscience. The contrast would be, for example, “health vegetarianism.” Don’t be thrown off by the fanciful nature of Martin’s example.
