From Vietnam News. Over the last two years, authorities have discovered 57 cases of trafficking in wild animals involving more than 7,612 individuals including monkeys and Tibetan bears and elephant tusks. Moon bears are rare, which makes this all the sadder. I can't read such stuff without being sickened by my species. Tags: taiwan Traditional Chinese Medicine bear bile china asia. It's great that they were saved, but t hey arrived at the rescue center in wretched condition. Again, the China connection.
