What family is it from? This first encounter was during a bird of prey exhibition at Leeds Castle, so the information was forthcoming from the commentary, but the chances of ever seeing one in the wild seemed remote. Red-legged Seriema, (with the only other member, the Black-legged Seriema) is placed in the family Cariamidae.
