And it certainly doesn't follow that it is permissible to eat meat that comes from animals who were forced to endure horribly inhumane factory farm conditions and who were then slaughtered inhumanely. Is it necessary for us to kill animals for food? Or are we killing animals unnecessarily when we kill them for food?
