It was because of her that her husband could get medical care when he fell ill. The central message of the program was not about enslaving animals, of course. And 99% of the population (as in, 1%, I believe, are vegans) doesn't care. That's 800,000, and that's a crime of disgraceful proportion and it I'm not minimizing it.
