We can care about animals and people at the same time; they're not mutually exclusive. If you don't have to enslave, rape, dominate, or kill someone (or have someone else do it for you), why would you? Why choose enslavement, rape, domination and slaughter? Let's just say the ban was meaningful. What do you think?
