Since we collectively shared that day of birding with more than 20,000 people in more than 150 countries, there’s a pretty good chance that more people were out watching birds on May 13th than any other day in history. Although it was partially hidden by the mist over the marsh, we could still see enough to count Rufescent Tiger-Heron.
