Greeley has a historian’s instincts, perhaps stemming from his training as an archivist (though he ended up, he says vaguely, in business and market research). Congress and Senate who recognized the need to protect the birds. But this is not a hagiography. I think birders will enjoy reading this political history of the MBTA.
