We received an email about a new book being released by Lantern Books. The author is Nick Cooney and he's the Director of The Humane League, an animal advocacy non-profit with offices in Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington DC. Change of Heart has received rave reviews from leading animal activists.

It entailed an aerial fabric performance (think Cirque du Soleil or that hotel commercial with the lady swinging from the drapes) set to beautiful music by animal advocate Marilyn Milano and a slide show about puppy mills and volunteering with rescues. Proceeds from the show will be used to further Up For Pups animal advocacy efforts.
