Oil on the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama I covered the spill for several months for a special TV series on the Gulf Disaster. There is no point rehashing the gruesome details of the largest accidental marine oil spill in our history. There is, however, value in pausing to reflect and remember what happened two years ago.
