Lemurs are a species of primate, and reach sexual maturity between 2 and 3 years old. Fish and Wildlife Service considers all lemurs endangered. Since its inception in 2004, the Fund has donated more than $6 million to more than 500 projects around the world. All species of lemurs are native to the island of Madagascar.
