During our tenure there, we had exceptional views of Africa’s largest ( Verreaux’s Eagle-Owl ) and smallest ( African Scops Owl ) owls, the largest bird on the planet, not neglecting numerous hornbills, sunbirds and weavers. The first stop was along a narrow dirt track adjacent to some farming land. Greyish Eagle-Owl.

I neglected to take the camera into the courtyard in the beginning, though I did bring the hounds and their beds. The discussion about the environment usually originates in the massive problems created by the factory farming of sentient nonhumans. Violet was spooked early on, but Charles stayed for the entire evening.
