Sorry, another Washington State story. We all know that it's not the sea lions' fault that the salmon runs are either threatened or endangered. It's the humans' fault through overharvesting, the use of fish hatcheries, hydropower dams (like Bonneville) and the decimation of habitat. Sea lions are killed here for eating salmon.

TRAVERSE CITY - State officials say they're not pleased with a federal court's ruling overturning the government's decision to remove the gray wolf from the endangered species list for the Great Lakes region. District Court in Washington, D.C., Fish and Wildlife Service was not supported by the federal Endangered Species Act.
