In other words, I don't immerse myself in animal cruelty. And I know that, for instance, I simply don't have the skill set to be an undercover person who documents abuse. I rescue, I adopt, I do TNR, and I connect others to resources to do the same. Because I would have a breakdown. So I take care of myself.
