The column, which you can read here , is a call to arms to factory farmers to fight back against those individuals and organizations working to protect farm animals from the abuses inherent in factory farms.

That’s what you do with other game, right? You can designate it thus; you can legally call it a Rhode Island Red chicken if you want, but no whooping crane on this planet is nonessential. In the only state in the Central Flyway that protects cranes from hunting. Why not just shoot the biggest one? It flies on.
