He always refers to himself and his wife and his child as "vegetarian." But why does he say "vegetarian?" That bothers me, as there's a significant difference in motivation for vegans and vegetarians and he sounds like one, yet calls himself the other. In all fairness, most people's only reference is PETA.

The campaign to moralize meat has largely been a failure. If that means volunteering at a dog rescue or giving money to PETA, all while eating and using animals, at least you’re doing something. People are irrational and conflicted and make a show of taking a stand but manage to still do whatever they want in the end.
