That was the best possible spot we could find from our Tucson base, and given our badly stressed budget. It seems his family of 5, had rented a condo that sleeps 8, at Atlantis Resort, on Paradise Island, in the Bahamas. Bahama species – 38. So far the only hummingbird we have seen has been the Bahama Woodstar.

We have escaped the clutches of the Bahamas, and are finally back “home” in Tucson, Texas. All in all, twenty six airplane flights this year, traveled around the world, to 11 countries, and not one single delay, or interruption of service, until the Bahamas. Bahamas Species – 58. The Little Big Year species – 1291.
