Many of these migratory shorebirds will be heading into the Arctic to breed and some will make a stopover in Asia on their way to their breeding grounds. I also have a Grey-tailed Tattler that visits us and was marked with a plain white and an engraved blue flag “35″ in Taiwan in August 2012.
