In 2003, Hare traveled to Novosibirsk and ran his pointing test on baby foxes. A team led by cognitive scientist Josef Topál of the Research Institute for Psychology in Hungary recently ran an experiment to study how 10-month-old babies pay attention to people. They will affectionately run up to people and even wag their tails.
