Yet now it’s been discovered they are all now relatively close, in the Congo rainforest, despite having travelled around 3,000 miles south.

France began circulating a draft resolution on Monday that would temporarily authorize an additional 3,085 troops and police officers for the peacekeeping mission in the Congo to protect civilians in the eastern part of the country. Historically, these diseases have been studied only when they affect human populations or domestic animals.
