The ASPCA continually does amazing work on behalf of our animal companions. The dogs had been left to starve, no food, water or even shelter from freezing temperatures. They also had signs of neglect, broken bones, wounds and infections. Sadly, there were also 27 dead dogs found on the property.

The vet suggested hydrogen peroxide washes once it's been a few days but I don't like using that because it can kill some of the healthy cells as well, I've always been told not to put H.P. Does anyone know anything I can give him that will help? I feel bad for the guy. He's clearly upset and I think it itches because it is healing.

This little guy appeared weak and the wound on its head is very apparent. A young bird, yet to reach flight, is extremely vulnerable to pet cats and dogs. I regret that I didn't leave that little fellow with some dog food or a can of tuna. The heart in me wanted to take him in and get him up to strength. What to do?
