In The Last of Us video game, there are two scenes where they show exotic animals surviving in the North American climate. This got me thinking about giraffes living in any part of the US, and I read some reports saying they do live in wildlife preserves in Florida pretty successfully. The giraffes did not.

Rabbits scamper into the underbrush, only to encounter a coyote nobody saw standing there. Here is the video. His friend recorded the event. What’s our choice?

The Rusty Squirrel-Hawk AKA Ferruginous Hawk

They are often seen on the ground since their prey consists mainly of rabbit, prairie dog and, you guessed it, ground squirrel. Fish and Wildlife Service and as a Sensitive Species by the Bureau of Land Management 1. In the meantime, I found a cool video of the Ferruginous Hawk in slow motion. This is the light morph.
