This one seems to wonder about whether eating flies is the right lifestyle choice though. Fortunately, Haiwan Seaside Park in Shanghai has found a good solution. Well, Nanhui had some this month.

The lifestyle associated with the Sunday roast involves sacrifices that those brought up on fast food are unused to making—mealtimes, manners, dinner-table conversation and the art of cookery itself. If meat-eating should ever become confined to those who do not care about animal suffering then compassionate farming would cease.

If they are like most people, they believe that a world with less unnecessary suffering is intrinsically better than a world with more unnecessary suffering. Gale's proposed explanation seems quite plausible.
