Efficient use of the limited resource parrotbill nests, I guess. Hemoglobin is a key molecule in transporting oxygen from the lungs to the individual cells requiring it for their metabolism. Some Chinese researchers found one (1) nest of a Brown Parrotbill at Gaoligongshan and wrote a paper on it.
