Efficient use of the limited resource parrotbill nests, I guess. More memorably, and more helpful to me, Bella from Alpinebirding (my guide at Wawushan) told me that the Brown Parrotbill looks more aggressive to her. Some Chinese researchers found one (1) nest of a Brown Parrotbill at Gaoligongshan and wrote a paper on it.
