The monkeys made sense; many species of apes and monkeys are adaptable to many climates and are similar to humans in terms of anatomy. This got me thinking about giraffes living in any part of the US, and I read some reports saying they do live in wildlife preserves in Florida pretty successfully. The giraffes did not.

Rabbit Meadows is a rescue group out of Seattle. As the name suggests, they rescue rabbits, but they also rescue other small animals like ferrets, and other small rodents. They are undertaking a great project that sounds like it will be beneficial for both the sanctuary rabbits and the people who love them.

I’m now petting my rabbit Dougal, 6 more birds dead. I get that we need to look and see how humans affect birds and things we construct like glass covered skyscrapers, wind farms and cell phone towers can kill a lot of birds, but is going after yards with bird feeders the best way to go about it? Never put up a bird house?
