Caring for the homeless cat population in Los Angeles, FixNation , offers free spay and neuter services to caregivers of community cats. The group has more than 7,000 volunteers locally who do this. To date, there are 7,076 volunteer trappers and caregivers that have embraced FixNation and contributed to these results.

There's a stray dog problem in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico. Clearly, there's no spay/neuter program in this place. There are about 70,000 stray dogs roaming San Luis Rio Colorado in northern Mexico. The solution? If you bring in the dog for euthanization, you get a tax exemption.hooray! Sarcasm there of course.

. … The ordinance would allow Minneapolis residents to establish cat “colonies” where abandoned and wild cats can be fed but also vaccinated, neutered and identified in an effort to humanely cut their population and control disease. Feeding bans don’t stop cats from “multiplying”; neutering does.

Some time ago a neighborhood stray cat came to the yard to have her kittens. We tried to find a rescue group to take the little family so they could hopefully find a loving home. This little mama cat was super smart and found her way into the hot tub, and here are her little kittens snuggled up in a flower pot.
