This northern fox really does look red, unlike the pale, sandy-coloured animals I saw in Georgia in 2019 ( below ). A Red Fox in Georgia, not looking very red I’ve never been to Svalbard, so I haven’t ticked off polar bear, but I have seen brown bears on a number of occasions in both Romania and Bulgaria.

Corey spent the weekend making his way south to Georgia, where he has now arrived at Tybee Island. My daughter and I waited past dusk to see a Great Horned Owl land in the bare tree pictured above. It perched on the cell tower instead. No accounting for taste or a sense of theatrics.

Then put both the bird and the trap in a dark cardboard box so he’ll calm down, and get him to me immediately. They should outlaw sticky traps. It’s a horrid, slow way to die.”.

On February 17th they rescued 26 Pit Bulls near Sandersville, Georgia. The ASPCA continually does amazing work on behalf of our animal companions. The dogs had been left to starve, no food, water or even shelter from freezing temperatures. They also had signs of neglect, broken bones, wounds and infections.
