More than 120 Park Rangers of the Congolese Wildlife Authority, ICCN, today returned to Virunga National Park - 14 months after fleeing violent hostilities between rebels and government soldiers. Soon we were out of the protected harbour and into choppier waters, and here I have to say I suffered for about two hours from the dreaded affliction known as sea-sickness. We soon were close to the Mokohinau Islands , one of the many islands in the area that serve as wildlife refuges. I personally had a great if exhausting day.
