Baby Swift (help!)

I found a baby swift unable to fly in my yard and brought it in since there's a lot of cats around and it was dark, it survived the night and is pretty active (even tho it closes its eyes every pause it gets). It's been shaking its wings and tail and raising its head and i thought it was hungry but it won't eat. I asked what i should do to professionals and they said to either reach their nests (over 10m high.

Winter in Albert Park, Melbourne

When we spent a few weeks in Melbourne in the summer of 2015, which was February, I would often walk to Albert Park. I would do a lap of the lake and take in all of the different species of birds that called the city home. Visiting Albert Park in winter recently, all wrapped up in layers of clothing – ethically sourced down is good! – we encountered a different variety of birds.

Turning a farm dog into a suburban one?

Boyfriend has an 8 year old male English shepherd who has lived on a farm in the mountains his whole life at his moms place. But the dog is my boyfriend’s, so when we moved in together in a suburb off the mountain, we took him with us. We’ve only been here a week and a half, but the dog is showing a lot of anxiety and depressive type of behaviors and symptoms.

I am thinking of buying a house in a place where squirrels could be a problem. Is there a low powered air rifle I could zap them with, without hurting them to discourage them from hanging around too much?
