Questions remain as canine respiratory disease cases fall

The outbreak of atypical canine infectious respiratory infectious disease complex (aCIRDC) that grabbed the nation’s attention late last year appears to be receding. Experts say a periodic spike in CIRDC cases in various regions is to be expected; however, the most recent wave differed from previous versions with many of these cases having other underlying health issues.
