Ok so this rat wasn't supposed to be a pet, it was originally snake food however my snake didn't want to eat it after a week and my family and I didn't want to release it in the wild as it'd already been through enough. labored breathing, twitching, crying when moved etc.

Our animals range from a small pet rat to miniature horses. I didn’t want to imagine a place where tiny children lived on heavy medical equipment hanging on to life every moment.
