The male Pied Oystercatchers generally make the nest scrape and once the female Pied Oystercatcher is content with his work she will lay one egg. The park is sited close to a poor district of town and I suspect that these areas provide much of the river’s content. Woodcreepers and foliage-gleaners are likely in mid and lower levels.
