I saw a video of a mom hawk roosting her eggs and the dad flew in to swap with her and i thought what if she thinks it’s some rando who swooped in suddenly. idk i haven’t studied birds or know too much about them and thought maybe someone who is well versed in animals and specifically birds who had an answer.

Good news following an investigation of farm animal abuses by Mercy for Animals. Sometime soon, David Radlo of Radlo Foods says his sign in front of the former DeCoster Egg Farm will be coming down and all his business at the massive egg operation in Turner will come to an end. The use of tool by animals is surprisingly rare. Among birds the Egyptian Vulture uses rocks to crack Ostrich eggs, the New Caledonian Crow and Woodpecker Finch (one of several Darwin Finches of the Galapagos Islands), uses sticks to extract grubs from inside a branch. Further support for inherent behavior comes from experiments.
