The Bornean Bristlehead is kind of the star bird of Sepilok. eBird calls it “a ‘grail bird’ of many birders visiting Borneo. Up to now, I thought that the B in the HBW stands for bird, but I guess I was wrong. If like me you enjoy cute birds, you will like the Malaysian Pied Fantail.

Why are most animals cool with other animals, but freak out with humans?

I stopped and watched it for a minute and saw a bird land by it, not trying to hurt it or something but just felt like landing in front of it I guess. The turtle didn't speed up or go the opposite direction, it just kept slowly crawling, getting right up close to the bird, who didn't even seem to pay it any mind as it passed.
