Update on National Meat Association vs. Brown
coalition of animal protection groups consisting of the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF), the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), Farm Sanctuary, and the Humane Farming Association (HFA), intervened in the case to ensure that the interests of animals and the public were represented. Did anyone know this was going on?

Cutting Duplicative Research Could Save Millions
Just read an August update from an ALDF lawyer about medical research. was struck by this paragraph. That's a lot of saved lives. But would researchers be willing to share their results? Doubtful if it means endangering their potential patents.
