We don't have Petco in the UK, but Pets at Home is our equivalent of a terrible pet store that neglects and abuses animals.

It's so sad how lives are just property to them.

Yeah.
More needs to be done to educate people about how bad stores are.

100% most ppl don't even realize the abuse going on wich is probably the worst part

They also hire anyone with little training. And tell them to refer to the guides they give out.

Yhea I know. They wanna keep the animals in the cheapest setup possible so they make a profit. I would personally rather spend $60 a rat that's been given good care than a $20 rat that's being neglected (I use rats as an example)
