What animal species besides homosapien practices self sabotage?
I've noticed that self destructive actions in other animals like cats, dogs, horses, birds, etc. seems to mostly if not only occur when they're with humans as a pet or being captive. So what are some examples of self destructive tendencies of other animals in the wild?

As for wild animals, the stray cats are no strangers to the same types of behaviors. But they’re also in pretty close proximity to humans.
