Anywho, we recently took in a stray cat, are in the process of adopting them. I thought maybe it was something in their mouths and had the vet check it out to be sure. After speaking with someone else who has taken in strays and the vet, they have informed me they may just be gassy adjusting to the food we are feeding them.

day, I had come home to a scraggy, skittish stray of my own. I didn’t yet know what this cat’s story might be, if she had a home, if she was lost. The process of taking in a stray isn’t usually instantaneous and straightforward. It brought the information out of the abstract and into the real, the visceral.
