And I have lots of experience with my long lens drawing attention. Bethany-on-the Jordan is literally a stone’s throw from Israel, which is why we were required to stay with the group and keep moving. This was due, oddly enough, to my binoculars. But no one had ever been concerned about my binos before.

Highlights from Birding Costa Rica, 2019

Ruffs from Israel, the one in Costa Rica kind of looked like the top bird. In May, thanks to an invitation from the San Vito Birding Club , a group that has done excellent work in promoting birding in that part of the country, Mary and I paid a visit to this excellent area in May. Bird counts.
