About a year ago I posted information about the launch of a new stem cell therapy for dogs ( Vet-Stem ). This too is good news for pet owners whose only options previously were either an expensive and invasive surgery or euthanasia. This therapy uses adult stem cells to help injured dogs and dogs suffering from arthritis.

The bird was stripped of feathers and so badly battered that euthanasia was probable. It’s the bane of many rehabbers that they simply can’t get through to cat owners on this critical issue of free-roaming pets. It brought the information out of the abstract and into the real, the visceral.
