The Banded Barbet is a medium-sized barbet that is endemic to Ethiopia and Eritrea. This image is from Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla National Park, Uganda. Banded is an attractive species endemic to Ethiopia and Eritrea. This image was also taken at Lalibela, Ethiopia. Note the strange nasal tufts at the base of the bill.
