The 2023 Merck Animal Health Veterinary Wellbeing Study IV, conducted by Brakke Consulting Inc. in collaboration with the AVMA, has been repeated every other year since 2017.

I have to say I think owls are my favorite species of birb. from the reasons why they fly so low to the ghostly silence of their flight. I have to say there is a curious mystique about these beautiful creatures. A lot of people see them as symbolic to wisdom but they haunt the skies at night like a phantom. The only things you might even hear is the soft creak of a branch or a shape swooping through the grass.

Hello, Reddit community! I rescued 5 puppies and their mom 3 months ago. Three of them found loving homes, but unfortunately, the remaining two were adopted by someone who put them in close proximity to sick dogs, resulting in parvo. I had to take them back, and now they urgently need veterinary treatment. The vet recommended a minimum of 5 days of treatment.

I had a pet dog die this morning because he was runover. He was only 8 months old but he was stunned in growth. This morning I found him dead near the road with his leg snapped. I cried when I found him, cried when I buried him and still crying while writing this. I loved him because unlike our other dogs, he would be the only one to come waddling to me as soon as I came back from school.

I am working on a project right now and I would like to give it a "pet name" to make it easier to refer to. My project is related to child caregivers and I thought it would be cool to give it the name of a famous animal that took care of other animals.only I haven't had much luck finding any names that are easily pronounceable. My favourite is Kamunyak the lioness that keeps adopting Oryx calfs but her name is not that easy to pronounce (or remember how to spell).

I've never understood why people on safari can just drive up to a pack (pride?) of lions and just park close to them in a Jeep with no roof, and the lions barely acknowledge the humans. And the humans also don't seem to feel any worry or fear, even the tourists are happy to take hundreds of pictures a few feet away from WILD lions in a car with no roof.

So my dog is 10. Rott/pit/black lab mix. BEAUTIFUL girl and she used to be amazingly well behaved. We got a rescue a few years back (sasha) and she was awful. She’d stand there and pee down her leg right in front of us, couldn’t control her bowels or bladder. I ended up taking her to the vet thinking it was an anxiety issue. Nope… turns out she was pretty much just done living.
