Has anyone, as a child, ever hurt animals like pelting stray cats and dogs with stones? And once the deed is done you start repenting your vile act. I used to do this when I was a kid. But now, I would give my life to protect them. Have done a bit of rescue volunteering in the past. I know no amount of rescue service will make up or replace or change what those poor beings went through.

Yesterday there was an older baby bird (it had feathers for flying) in my tree which fell out and I kept it for the night and fed. I recently put it back up in its tree where it flew from branch to branch (it previously did not know how to fly) and it stayed up there for about two hours with its mum until it fell into my neighbours garden, where it’s now just walking around while the mother is stood up on the fence nearby.

I had a doctor's appointment today, and prior to that I had noticed my cat (male, neutered, 4 years old) sniffing around the front door but thought nothing of it. Three hours later, I came back, and there's a whole line of ants running around. I can't figure out what they're running towards, there's no food there. Anyways, I panicked.

Was in the kitchen earlier and saw four slugs, two were definitely on steroids. I was chucking them out, but noticed little yellow bugs on them, knew they were parasites. I checked the other and it had the same. I picked up with a paper towel and washed my hands after, but could they’re still be mites in my kitchen, roaming about - I reckon not as they don’t shy away from they’re source, but thought I’d come on here anyway to see.

My cat asks permission to sit on my lap. He just sits there next to the couch staring at me until I park my lap. Once I pay my lap a few times he jumps up and goes to bed in my lap. He is a polite little cat.

I would to verious degress. but Largest one being brutaly beating someone into despair(as in for ending life of my family member simular punishment must be done). As what I would have done if I was ever wittness to someone poisoning my grandmas dogs(two of them died and my grandparents told me that was the cause). What would be your way of dealing with them?

Many animal owners wont give two s s if there dog is smelling enviorment/wanting to explore or even pull the dog when going down stairs like maniacs(I seen that happen and its so delusional.Dog was looking back and lady just pulled him like a toy). Its just so stupid if you wont allow your dog to even remotely explore his enviorment outside.Besides the chosen path.then keep him inside.

we just got an AussieDoodle (2 month female). Our Corgi (6 month male) is very aggressive towards her. He snarls and bites at her. She tries to play back but he overpowers her. Is he just playing with her or does he not like her? When they’re “playing” she makes a whining noise but I can’t tell if she is hurt or if she is just being vocal. Help!

Northwest fl. For the past 3 weeks I’ve had 2 strays hanging out on my back porch. Once they get a bit more friendly my husband wants to trap them to get shots. Today the orange one bit me on my toe. I’m a hypochondriac so naturally I think I have rabies. I don’t think it broke any skin, it felt more like a nip, went inside and cleaned my toes, I also pour isopropyl alcohol and didn’t feel any sting like a cut or anything.
