A Photographic Guide to the Wildlife of Seychelles by Chris Mason-Parker

10,000 Birds

“M had told Bond he was sending him to the Seychelles. ‘… Just go and have a look.’ M glanced out of the window at the driving March sleet. ‘Don’t get sunstroke.'” Indeed, there is one distinctly birding connection to this country: a famous birder Ian Fleming, the author of James Bond, visited the Seychelles in 1958 looking for inspiration for his then-latest collection of stories, For Your Eyes Only.

Injured Bat, and now?

Reddit Animals

Germany, Schwerin. Had this little Bat in my Apartment tonight on the Floor. I placed her/him without further inspection on a post on my balcony and hoped He/She flew away, but nope. She/He was still in the ground. I think my Cats didn't harmed him/her, but you never know. The bat is still alive but is pretty bad injured. I try to call NABU, an animal welfare, when someone is on their Hotline.

Injured bunny

Reddit Animals

I have no idea what's allowed here but I was wondering what the best thing to do here is. Even getting super close it barely moves. It's been 15 minutes since I found it and now it's eating. Do I just leave the bunny and it'll be fine, or should I be calling someone?

Alligator approaches my waterfront fenced yard when we're outside

Reddit Animals

I have 2 large dogs and small kids. Our backyard is on a pond and we have a fenced yard. When we're outside, a large alligator will swim across the pond up to edge of my yard and watch us. It will even move from one end of the yard to the other when the dogs are favoring one side of our yard. Is this aggressive behavior or curious behavior from the alligator?
